Antacid - Anti-ulcer

Proton pump inhibitor; aid in the short and long-term treatment and prevention of signs and symptoms related to peptic acid disorders: Esophagitis, erosive gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers.

FORMULA

5 mg: Each tablet contains: Omeprazole 5 mg, Excipient q.s. 1 tablet.

20 mg: Each tablet contains: Omeprazole 20 mg, Excipient q.s. 1 tablet.

DOSE

• 1 tablet of 5 mg per 5 kg every 12 or 24 hours for a maximum of 8 weeks.
• 1 tablet of 20 mg per 20 kg  every 12 or 24 hours for a maximum of 8 weeks.  

The dosage and treatment period may vary according to the veterinarian's judgment.

WARNINGS

In patients with renal or hepatic impairment, dose adjustment is necessary. Reversible hypertrophy of the gastrointestinal mucosa may occur with prolonged gastric acid suppression. Do not exceed the recommended dose.
