  • Metronidazole is an antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of infections.
  • Each 5 mL (1 teaspoon) contains: 
    Metronidazole (in the form of Metronidazole Benzoate) ......................125 mg.
  • Indicated for the control and treatment of infections caused by Giardia and Trichomonas in dogs and cats, as well as enteric and systemic anaerobic infections. 

    Due to its inhibitory action on cell-mediated immunity, it is also used as an adjunct treatment for lymphocytic plasmacytic enteritis.
